As a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) certified by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (Certification Number: 3746), we bring a strong background in supporting students’ educational and emotional needs. We hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential with advanced authorizations in School Psychology from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing, a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Fullerton and California State University Long Beach.  

 

In addition to our formal education, we have specialized training in several areas, including Aggression Replacement Training (ART) for students struggling with anger and aggression, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) for safe intervention of student behavior, and the UCLA Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS) to help students with Autism and other social challenges. We've also completed training in Dyslexia with Dr. Nancy Mather, co-author of the Woodcock-Johnson Tests of Cognitive Abilities, and in the Sonday System, an Orton-Gillingham-based reading intervention. 

 

We've developed and implemented successful behavioral services programs for school districts, including training for educators and support staff, and contributed to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support for Behavior (MTSS-B) at the district level. Our experience and training help us provide thoughtful and comprehensive support to meet the diverse needs of students.
